Only Three Women DGPs in the Country?
In the power corridors of policing, just three women hold the top post of DGP - Rashmi Shukla in Maharashtra-a 1988 batch IPS officer, Idashisha Nongrang in Meghalaya- a 1992 batch IPS officer and one from Union territory, Puducherry- Shalini Singh, a 1996-batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre.
